The new technologies and entertainment collaborate to create the theme parks of the future.

ART FUTURA '99 will present a wide range perspective of all these new theme parks, including highlights like Disney Quest, as well as Moebius' "Airtight Garage" attraction from San Francisco's Metreon, a Sony Entertainment project.

"Encyclopedia" is the name of a joint project between three European museums: the Pompidou, the Ludwig Museum in Cologne and the Center of Contemporary Imagery in Geneva. A good example of a new type of virtual museum, which already have made some examples reality, are the Ars Electronica Center in Linz and the ZKM in Karlsruhe in Germany.

New problems will arise with digital leisure. Already there are experts on how to influence the behavior of a potential user with the New Media, leading to the development of a new discipline, called "captology", dedicated to the study of profound mechanisms which determine the relationship between man and the computer.
